The original application was submitted in September 2016 but was never considered by the Planning Committee. Lovel felt it necessary to appeal due to a delay in a decision but also because we were aware that the planning officers were in favour of the development.
So the appeal was lodged in October 2018. On the grounds that there is a clear need for more housing and amenities in the area, and this development would help to address that. The appeal was granted in August 2019. We have since submitted further planning applications.
The plan is for 322 dwellings made up of detached, semi detached and terraced housing to suit all needs. The masterplan demonstrates how an holistic approach can be successfully undertaken.
