Wolds House Medical Centre

Market Weighton was greatly in need of a new modern health centre, particularly with the proposed increase in housing in the town. There were few deliverable sites within to accommodate such a facility. 

Lovel Developments was approached to help bring this project to fruition as the funding approved by NHS England was about to expire. All financial, legal, and land ownership issues were quickly resolved to relocate the building onto a new site with an alternative access, and the centre was successfully delivered to BREEAM Excellent standard.   

The Wolds Medical Centre is a significant planning gain for the town and its residents, and provides a number of health and social facilities that continue to benefit the wider community.
